We were looking for a space accessible to Alex to create a theatre for our 2013 festival. At the time, Alex didn't have a permanent theatre, which meant stages had to be erected and dismantled. Ntshieng was steadfast with her dream of having a theatre in Alex. We were lucky to find the kind Jonathan Gimpel and Emdin Brothers and their Yarona Mall with its beautiful arresting spaces.
